Just Stars in the Sky
by: Amanda/ MandyXVanity
Skies are darkened with shades of blue
What's left behind;
A heart with no loving use
Useless feelings of concern
Never count on no one
is what the world had me learn
If every things against me
than all I have is me
Eyes are wide open now for everyone to see
If you promise me never
I promise I will be just fine
Regret is safe behind that second glance
that's where it loves to shine
If you can't hear yourself think
Welcome to my Ecstasy
Let the music drown these walls
that's where I want to be and
Please don't take it to heart
anything formed from what's been said
We all will end up better
if we stay out of my head, but
Doesn't everyone wear fake smiles with twisted truths
Let's pretend there's nothing wrong and
Be sure to hide the clues....
They told me to take a breath
Look up at all the burning stars staring back at you and me.
How may unfulfilled wishes do you think they left empty?
They shine so bright, but have little to say
Shouldn't we be praying to who controls the nights and the days?
So much skepticism to what can't be denied
Lies built on lies
Has left the world wondering why
Why is there billions of people, but
you still feel so alone
Why is it so hard to keep secrets from being shown
Ask me what I want
because I never been so sure
I want nothing less than something worth fighting for

Monster Catfish
The other day I was watching Animal Planet more specifically River Monsters starring Jeremy Wade and I was forever traumatized. If you ever watched River Monsters you know its about Mr. Wade tackling on the mysteries of the worlds rivers.
There was this one specific episode about Monster Catfish that were eating humans in the rivers of Nepal(not sure if that's the only place they reside, so be careful).... really had me rethink our place on the Food Chain. For a person who watches way to much Animal Planet I think its safe to say these catfish defy the organization of our somewhat well thought out food chain. These whiskered fish are frighteningly to big for their britches.
I even had a nightmare I was in this murky river fighting away these over sized fish. I don't know.. this might not be all relevant to a lot of people, but I think these Catfish deserve being mentioned, so there you go. Monster Catfish. They're Very Scary. And Very Real. Credit Acknowledged.
